"The Necklace" The Husband’s Point of View

The story is “The Necklace” when I read it was in third-person limited point of view. This paragraph is about how it would be in Loisel’s point of view. When he came home with the invitation for the party his wife wasn’t happy, but if it was in his point it would have been different. He would have been happy because he worked hard for it, but when his wife said that she didn’t want to go he would been confused and a little bit mad. Next when she needed a new gown and he had the 400 Francs, but he was going to buy a new rifle for the hunting trip. When he heard his wife say that he was disappointed because he really wanted to go, but he loved his wife so he gave her the 400 Francs. Lastly when they had lost t he necklace he ran out and looked for it, he was worried for his wife. He had to give up all his money from his father and had to still borrowed a lot from other people. In the end all his hard work was for nothing. He did it all for his wife.

  1. Jennifer, this is exactly what you were supposed to do for this assignment!

I am glad to know that at least someone was able to understand the directions and carry them out correctly.

Keep up the good work! :)
