Imagery in Poetry Blog Post Paragraph

As my feet hit the ground
And the sweat runs down my face
The heat outside it like the sun itself
I look to rest
Under the great oak tree as old as time
As I sit I unzip my bag
I pull out the ice cold drink
As I hear the hiss as I pop it open
My mouth waters as if I swallowed a ocean
Soon the tatse of a watermelon flows down my thraot
The cold juice is like a shield to this heat
As they battle like World War 1
I feel the cold as it beats the heat
I lay back and look to the sky
My eyes close and I fall into a deep slumber
As if I was a bear going into winter hibernation
Waiting to be awakened by the great heat
For I know it will return

UnGoogleable Research Paper Highlight Reflection

Reading and highlighting the sources for my UnGoogleable research paper helped me to know the facts from my paper faster so I don’t have to read it over again. I learned what to highlight and how to highlight. I can break my information into three sections. One sections is on FIRM, it is the way to know what to highlight. Another section is how to know a good and appropriate website. The third section is to always make sure it is relevant to your question or topic. My next step to write a research paper should be to make a layout for it, get the facts together, and to organize it correctly.

Third Quarter Awards Review

At San Pasqual Academy, we have an awards ceremony in the auditorium. Everyone goes even the teachers, and its held after every quarter. The first part of the assembly that we do is say the pledge of allegiance, I felt really bad because I forgot the pledge! Then they called up the people who got a 3.0GPA to 3.6GPA, I was called up and was mad because my GPA went down and not up. The best part of the awards ceremony for me was when Coach Burgos was telling his award and said great things about who it was for, and  it was me! My face was so surprised because I didn’t think that I was such a good p.e. student, I was laughing when I walked up there and it was really awesome and meant a lot to me. I liked the awards ceremony a lot because we miss two periods of school and then get pizza if we got an award.

What I Learned from Second Quarter English 9

I have learned form Ms.Priester's second quarter class is, what Irony and Ambiguity means, what way the meanings change by context. Context is another thing I have learned, its how you say something. I have made a project using pixton with a partner and it turned out very well. She also showed us how to make a poll and paste on my blog posts. I knew almost a lot of the things she taught us, because I know how to work a computer. I have added a globe to my blog that shows me where someone had visited me form, I never knew that I could put that on my blog. So I am looking foward to know what I am going to learn in the next quarter.
