Can an animal be a human’s best friend?

To me an animal can be a humans’ best friend, because they can be trained, tamed, and be taught to be used to other humans too. Like when you go to the Zoo or Sea World, you see people having contact with the animals instead of the animals just roaming around dangerous to the keepers or the people who came to watch. Animals can also not be humans’ best friend because some where born to hunt and some never get used to humans, like Polar Bears they are known to hunt humans to stalk them as their prey, who knows why? I don’t that’s for sure. Sometimes an animal can be tamed and be humans’ best friend, but from times the best friend can become the worse nightmare, just because they got scared or something or someone else scared them and they attack the trainer or whomever is in their cage, or reaching distance. That is what I believe about animals being humans’ best friend.
